Our History
Grupo Ponteiras Rodrigues was founded in 1981 in Joinville, Santa Catarina — one of the most important industrial cities in Brazil and South America. From the beginning, the company focused on metal stamping and automotive component manufacturing, building deep expertise in precision steel forming.
Over four decades, the company expanded its capabilities to include in-house tooling and die manufacturing, CAD engineering, and dimensional validation. This vertical integration allows PR Automotive to control every stage of production, from die design to finished body panel.
The PR Automotive brand was created to serve the global automotive aftermarket, making Brazilian manufacturing quality accessible to distributors, importers, and bodyshop networks worldwide. Today, the company supplies collision repair and restoration parts across five continents.
